Birch Lake Welcomes Joseph L. Robinson, II as Managing Director

The addition of Mr. Robinson will support the firm’s investment pipeline through strategic advisory relationships.

Birch Lake Holdings, LP (“Birch Lake”), a Chicago-based merchant bank that blends decades of structuring and advisory experience with principal investing, is pleased to announce Joseph L. Robinson, II has joined the firm as its newest Managing Director and member of the investment committee. With his extensive experience and proven track record as an investment banker, Mr. Robinson will further strengthen the firm's advisory relationships.

As Managing Director at Birch Lake, Mr. Robinson will play a key role providing strategic advice to business owners, investors, and management teams. Leveraging his deep understanding of the current investment banking marketplace, he will identify opportunities, effectively structure deals, and provide Birch Lake clients with exceptional service and tailored solutions.

Mr. Robinson joins Birch Lake with more than 15 years of advisory experience, particularly in industrials, technology, and real estate. He has advised on transactions for private equity groups, family-owned businesses, and public companies. Mr. Robinson has led and/or contributed to transactions with an aggregate value of ~$8 billion at Lincoln International, Houlihan Lokey and William Blair & Company.
